IAPSO is part of the IUGG and the International Science Council (ISC), dedicated to advancing our understanding of the oceans and their interactions with the sea floor, coastal regions, and atmosphere. By fostering cooperation with organizations like the ISC’s Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research (SCOR) and UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC), IAPSO ensures that the latest advancements in ocean sciences are shared worldwide.
