ECSNet Project
The project ‘ECSNet Continuation: Strengthening Connections among IUGG Early-Career Scientists’ was awarded through the IUGG Grants Program (2026-2027) and aims to further develop ECSNet as a dynamic platform connecting Early-Career Scientists across all IUGG Associations. Building on the successful launch of the initiative in 2024, this next phase will focus on creating more opportunities for interaction, visibility, and collaboration between ECS members from different IUGG Associations.
Our key objectives are: (i) to foster international cooperation among ECSs by uniting all IUGG Associations, (ii) to engage the next generation in the IUGG community, (iii) to encourage participation from new researchers and students, and (iv) to captivate the general public with compelling content related to Earth and space sciences.

UPCOMING PROJECTS
ECSNet will continue expanding its activities through interviews, blog posts, webinars, and audiovisual content highlighting ECS initiatives, research experiences, and interdisciplinary collaboration across the Earth and space sciences community.
Over time, the project aims to progressively strengthen ECSNet as a sustainable platform shaped directly by Early-Career Scientists themselves, supporting long-term international connections, communication, and collaboration within IUGG.
