Meet Hugo Lecomte! A French researcher passionate about discovering Earth’s gravity. His driving question: How well do we truly understand the variations of our planet’s gravity field?
Do you want to know more about Hugo’s career? Watch the video below:
During his postdoc at LEGOS in Toulouse, he investigated ocean mass and water variations using advanced satellite gravity data. Hugo has now started a three-year postdoc at the Finnish Geospatial Institute, where he is monitoring gravity changes in Finland using high-precision ground measurements. From satellites to ground observations, his work aims to improve our understanding of the Earth’s gravity field variations.
