Thea Lepage is a second-year PhD student from Luxembourg, currently based at Université Grenoble Alpes and working at ISTerre (Institut des Sciences de la Terre).
Her research focuses on the electrical conductivity of the lowermost mantle, a region of the Earth that remains largely unknown. Passionate about her work, Thea enjoys interdisciplinary research and regularly interacts with scientists from fields such as seismology and mineralogy. This year, her research explores how the Earth’s fluid core responds to external magnetic fields, with a particular focus on magnetospheric currents.
